AVR is a .NET-based RPG compiler that works from within Visual Studio just as VB.NET and C# do. AVR compiles to native MSIL code and supports intrinsic Visual Studio features such as its Windows and Web designers, Intellisense, its debugger, and its deployment tools. Visual Studio 2010 offers many enhancements and features, such as improved multi-monitor support, new debugging features, and a new-from-the-ground-up code editor.

 
West Sussex, 19 October, 2009 - ASNA presented the Business Value of IT Modernization to the Northern iSeries User Group (NiSUG).    The 15 October meeting was the last meeting of the year for the Manchester, UK, user group.  Teaming up with Microsoft, Transoft and ALTech Software, the presenters made a compelling case for the Return on Asset (ROA) in today's economic climate.
 
Millennium Software has entered into agreement with ASNA International to enable companies to work together in the Irish market of IBM's System i users.  ASNA's products enable businesses to maximise their investments in RPG applications; extending the value of these assets to enable Web services, better integration between all applications, modern user interfaces, and contemporary development strategies. 
 
Transoft and ASNA, two longtime competitors in the System i modernization and code migration business, are now working together as partners thanks to a technology agreement hashed out by their parent companies, IRIS and BluePhoenix Solutions, respectively.
 
ASNA Ltd and its European Distributors united to become a single company named ASNA INTERNATIONAL.  The move was effective June 1st, 2009.  The resulting union has solidified and enhanced customer support, training and mentoring services for ASNA products throughout Europe.
